Tay River Trips are managed by the Maritime Volunteer Service’s Tay Unit on behalf of Taymara, charity number SC039319. Taymara offers free sea training and qualfications to recovering drug and alcohol users and people with learning disabilities.

The Maritime Volunteer Service promotes the education and training of members of the public in all aspects of maritime skills.

The Dundee branch of the Maritime Volunteer Service is the largest in Britain with a fleet of 5 vessels. Every aspect of running this actively seagoing unit is carried out by our own membership.

We are looking for people who wish to train as crew, skippers, engineers, communications personnel and shore support.
